March Blog-post - All coming together

This month has been very productive and coming to the end of it we are getting a lot of the final components of our micro mouse together.

I have been working with Adam on the PCB design and build, this is now completed as it has been printed and the board has been populated with all of the components. We conducted some testing on the board to make sure all of the systems on it worked and had to do some small fixes, mostly to do with components being soldered in backwards.

Ed and Anish have been very successful optimising the programming of our different modes using the prototype micro mouse and have made fantastic progress getting the ultrasonic implemented in place of the infrared.

Sean has now finalised the design of our shell and gotten a base laser cut and ready for use, the shell should be 3D printed as soon as it is available to us.

So in all it has been an exiting month being able to see different parts of the final product being finished so close to each other
