February Blog-post - Back into it

This month we made good steps towards finishing the micro mouse after the long break that we had over January for exams.

This month started with me working on the special feature of our micro mouse with Anish so that we can understand how it works and interacts before implementing it into the micro mouse itself, this was interesting as i have never worked with ultrasonic before. After this I worked along side Adam to get started on the design of the PCB to be used on our final micro mouse, this is long work as it is a lot of routing tracks around small places to try and not cross over. to make this easier on us we are using a double sided PCB so we can use tracks on both the bottom and the top of the board.

Sean has been starting work with 3D modelling for the shell of our micro mouse, this has been taking a while as he has had to teach himself how to use the modeling programs without anyones help.
