So far progresss has been good. Me and Adam have finished breadboarding the IR circuit and have tested and selected a number of IR detector chips with similar sensitivities; this should ensure the micromouse cannot 'see' too far in any one direction compared to the others. We have also started assembling a prototype micromouse; we currently have the motors mounted in place, and a second level installed housing the main circuitry. Once we have the controller board wired up along with the battery we should be able to load some code and have the mouse moving around without too much trouble.
